What Bowel Preparation is required?

For the a Colonoscopy to be accurate, the colon must be completely empty and clean. This is achieved by following our colonoscopy instructions which you can download below. The preparation involves both diet restrictions as well as a ingesting a bowel preparation drink that will pass through the bowel, causing diarrhoea that should become clear and watery, completely emptying the bowel of all it’s contents, so that we have a clear vision of the lining and walls of your colon.
